Officially founded in 2023, but in development since 2020, Vivid Vinyl stands for a new standard of quality in record finishing.

As a partner of Schallplattenfabrik Pallas GmbH, we are starting our business with more than 75 years of experience in the vinyl industry. This knowledge, paired with the creativity and passion of our team, is our salient feature.

We are combining the know-how and the record-quality of Pallas along with our specially developed refinement-concepts, whereby we offer an all-inclusive service that captures your individual requirements.

Combining both, your ideas and ours, we will produce refined records of the highest quality exclusively for your needs.

FAQs

What is the minimum order quantity?

Our minimum order quantity is 50 units. Currently, orders can be placed for up to 5,000 units.

What is the standard lead time?

The lead time depends on the order quantity. Generally, it is around 8 weeks after order confirmation and receipt of all required data, such as audio files, print files and the official purchase order.

What is the sound quality like?

The sound quality of our Liquid Vinyl and Glitter Vinyl is comparable to that of a colored vinyl record. Our goal is to ensure the highest and most consistent quality for this special format.

Can the finished vinyl still be played?

Yes, the finished vinyl can be played without any loss in sound quality. The filling does not affect the audio quality. However, as these are handcrafted products, there may be slight residues on the finished record. We recommend cleaning the vinyl with a suitable brush before playing it for the first time.

How thick is a refined vinyl record?

Our Liquid Vinyl are typically 2 mm thick, while our Glitter Vinyl are 3 mm thick.

What data and information are required for production?

For production we require:
• An official order specifying the version and color + quantity
• Audio files in WAV format incl. audio sheet
• Print files for the labels, inner sleeves, cover / gatefold, sticker, etc.

What other materials can be embedded into the vinyl records?

We are constantly experimenting with various materials. Feel free to share your ideas with us – we’ll do our best to bring your vision to life.

What other vinyl colors are available?

We can produce almost any color, but some preliminary testing may be required. Please share your desired colors with us, preferably as a PMS reference, and we will strive to achieve your desired result.

Can I request a sample before placing a larger order?

Yes, we offer samples as part of your order process. This allows you to review the quality and ensure everything meets your expectations before committing to larger quantities.

Are there any restrictions on the design or materials used?

To maintain ethical and safety standards, we do not work with toxic substances or unethical fillings, such as biological materials. We encourage innovative ideas if they align with these guidelines.

What packaging options are available?

Collaborating closely with the renowned vinyl pressing plant “Pallas”, we provide access to an extensive range of premium printing solutions. Whether you're looking for standard packaging or custom designs, we ensure your high-quality vinyl is presented in an equally outstanding package.

Can I customize the size of the vinyl?

Currently, we exclusively produce 12" records. However, we are actively testing additional formats, including 10" and 7" records, and hope to expand our offerings soon.

What kind of support or guidance do you offer during the design and production process?

We provide comprehensive support throughout the creative and production journey. This includes double-checking that your design files fit our templates, reviewing audio files for compatibility, and assisting with creative input where needed.
